Covid Clinic Provides $0 Upfront Service For COVID-19 PCR Testing. When Paying Out-Of-Pocket For Rapid Testing, Patients May Be Able To Receive Reimbursement From Their Health Insurance Provider For All Or A Portion Of Their COVID-19 Test. Patients Are Invited To Contact Their Insurance Provider For Additional Information As To Whether They May Be Eligible To Receive Reimbursement For A COVID-19 Test And How To Apply.

Rapid COVID-19 IgG/IgM Antibody Test Service
This test results will arrive by the end of 2 days.
This service is used to detect COVID-19 antibodies. A positive antibody test result suggests the patient was recently infected by COVID-19 or has developed an immune response through vaccination.
Results are generally reported within 1 hour at most locations.
**This DOESN’T test for a current Covid-19 infection**
The Assure COVID-19 IgG/IgM Rapid Test Device, a test for the qualitative detection and differentiation of IgM and IgG antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 (often referred to as COVID-19 or the novel coronavirus) in human venous whole blood (sodium EDTA), serum, plasma (sodium EDTA) and fingerstick whole blood.
The Assure COVID-19 IgG/IgM Rapid Test Device is intended for use as an aid in identifying individuals with an adaptive immune response to SARS-CoV-2, indicating recent or prior infection. At this time, it is unknown for how long antibodies persist following infection and if the presence of antibodies confers protective immunity.

- IgG: This is the most common antibody. It’s in blood and other body fluids, and protects against bacterial and viral infections. IgG can take time to form after an infection or immunization.
- IgM: Found mainly in blood and lymph fluid, this is the first antibody the body makes when it fights a new infection.
Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test Service

- This service is used to rapidly detect an active COVID-19 infection in a patient.
- Results are generally reported within 1 hour at most locations.
Covid Clinic utilizes multiple antigen tests in order to make antigen testing more accessible. The antigen test administered to the patient will be one of three tests, but Covid Clinic is unable to guarantee which of the tests will be utilized for a specific patient.
All of Covid Clinic’s antigen test offerings utilize tests that have received emergency use authorization from the FDA.
For Quidel’s Sofia SARS Antigen FIA Test and Luminostics Clip COVID Rapid Antigen Test, the specimen is collected by a lower nasal swab (anterior nares). The cotton swab does not need to be inserted far into the nose, and is rotated in a circle around the entire inside edge of each nostril at least three times. Results are generally available within 1 hour and delivered to the patient via email (with the individual’s consent).
For Access Bio’s CareStart COVID-19 Antigen Test, the specimen is collected by a lower nasal swab (anterior nares). Results are generally available within 1 hour and delivered to the patient via email (with the individual’s consent).

Rapid COVID-19 Molecular NAAT Test Service
This test results will arrive by the end of 2 days.
This service is used to rapidly detect an active COVID-19 infection in a patient.
Results are generally reported within 2 hours
Covid Clinic, Inc. is offering the Abbott ID Now COVID-19 Assay performed on the ID NOW Instrument. This test is a rapid molecular in vitro diagnostic test utilizing an isothermal nucleic acid amplification technology intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid from the SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA in direct nasal swabs. The ID Now COVID-19 Assay has received Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the FDA.
Many travel restrictions require a molecular or NAAT test be conducted prior to arrival. Abbott’s ID Now COVID-19 test may satisfy these requirements; however, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to verify the test will be accepted for travel prior to purchase.
To collect a nasal swab sample, carefully insert the swab into the nostril exhibiting the most visible drainage, or the nostril that is most congested if drainage is not visible. Using gentle rotation, push the swab until resistance is met at the level of the turbinates (less than one inch into the nostril). Rotate the swab several times against the nasal wall then slowly remove from the nostril. Using the same swab, repeat sample collection in the other nostril.

- Satisfies most travel restriction requirements
- Collected by anterior nares nasal swab (front of the nose only).
- Some travel destinations do not accept test results with an anterior nares collection method. Patients should confirm this test is acceptable for their travel requirements prior to purchase.
The Rapid RT-PCR COVID-19 Test is a molecular, in vitro diagnostic test utilizing end point reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and lateral flow technologies for the qualitative, visual detection of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA. The four steps utilized to perform the test are lysis of the virus, reverse transcription of viral RNA to cDNA, nucleic acid amplification, and detection.
The Rapid RT-PCR COVID-19 Test has been released under FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the detection of nucleic acid from SARS-CoV-2 (the virus responsible for COVID-19 infection), and can be used in applications that require molecular/ RT-PCR testing. IS THE TEST COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, patients are entitled to reimbursement for the cost of COVID testing. While testing may require an out-of-pocket cost, we encourage patients to seek
reimbursement by their insurance companies by forwarding the order invoice that includes diagnosis code, CPT test codes, and tax ID number. A paid invoice can be sent to the patient’s insurance company’s claims department which will determine eligibility for coverage.
WHY DO YOU CHARGE FOR TESTING?
We believe that a patient should be able to test whenever they want, with or without insurance. Many of our patients have been successful in paying for testing and then submitting their invoice to their insurance company for reimbursement. If you cannot afford testing, please fill out our Scholarship Application form for a no-cost test! Scholarships are available each day, based on need. These scholarships are not for same day use, as applications are reviewed each evening after the 7:00pm cutoff time.

IS AN APPOINTMENT NEEDED?
While we do accept walk-ins, an appointment is the only way to guarantee same day testing. This can be created during enrollment.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS MY APPOINTMENT?
If you have placed an order for a test and scheduled an appointment at one of our clinics, but are unable to make it at your scheduled time, the site will continue to honor your original order. A patient may visit the site at their earliest convenience.
IF I CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT, WILL I GET A REFUND?
Since orders do not expire, a patient is able to cancel their appointment and still be tested at their earliest convenience. If a patient has purchased a test and no longer wishes to be tested, the Help Center can confirm that services were not rendered and cancel the order.
CAN ARRIVE BY FOOT/ WALK UP?

Yes, Covid Clinic and its partnered labs are all CLIA (Clinic Laboratory Improvements Amendments) compliant.
DO YOU TAKE HSA FOR PAYMENT?
