Since November of 2020, Covid Clinic has been conducting COVID-19 testing in Las Vegas and has since expanded to a total of four locations in the state — three in Las Vegas and one in Reno. Covid Clinic has fostered a strong relationship with the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce since opening their first testing site.

According to the Nevada Health Response website, more than 465,000 cases have been diagnosed in the state. Las Vegas ranks as one of the top tourist destinations in the world and is experiencing a bounce back after a decline in visitors in 2020. According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Las Vegas has experienced an 82.6% increase in visitors in 2021 compared to 2020. The Reno – Sparks – Washoe Regional Information Center has reported almost 70,000 cases.

When it comes to Las Vegas, with this increase in visitors, in addition to the resident population of more than 634,000 souls, it is more important than ever to know where to go for reliable COVID-19 testing. As more and more businesses reopen and to full capacity, and more and more events are held, including numerous sporting events such as NHL hockey, NFL and NCAA football, WNBA basketball, concerts, shows, and more, coupled with the prevalence of the Delta variant and the emergence of the Omicron variant, COVID testing has never been more paramount for public safety.

As for Reno, tourism is on the upswing there as well. According to Northern Nevada Business Weekly, visitor levels are better than they were pre-COVID. Just northeast of Lake Tahoe, Reno has become a major tourist destination. Close to 250,000 people live in Reno.

Covid Clinic locations offer a robust suite of tests including Rapid Antibody, Rapid Antigen, Rapid COVID 19 + Flu Antigen Combo, and COVID-19 Molecular NAAT. In addition, Covid Clinic offers collection services for Rapid PCR, Expedited PCR, and Respiratory Pathogen Panel, which are sent to CLIA certified third party laboratories for processing. The rapid Covid tests offered by Covid Clinic all have an Emergency Use Authorization issued by the FDA. Covid Clinic’s testing sites are CLIA-compliant.

Recently, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak stopped by the Covid Clinic table at Governor Sisolak’s JobFest at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Covid Clinic remains committed to the people of Las Vegas, Reno, and the state of Nevada and efforts to keep the community safe, especially as the economy continues to reopen in full force. More Nevada locations are slated to open soon.
